with Annual or Semi-annual maintenance services focusing on optical, mechanical, and electrical performance. Maintenance always includes disassembly, cleaning of optical lenses, mechanical and optical alignment, minor adjustments and simple lubrication.

REPAIR SERVICE
Sudden microscope malfunctions
are frustrating and inconvenient.
Let's troubleshoot the problem over the phone or schedule a visit to remedy the problem. Replacement parts or upgrades are available. Pending approval and completion, all repair work is guaranteed for 90 days. Manufacturer's warranty on new microscopes. 90 day warranty on pre-owned microscopes.
RESTORATION
We provide in-house refurbishing services for all kinds of vintage and out of service microscopes. Service includes electrical checks, major/minor overhaul and lubrication of tracks and gears, and full cleaning of optical lenses and frame components. Loaner microscopes are available for your convenience.
TRAINING
Reduce user error and mitigate costly repair work with employee and student training. We cover microscope basics and operational techniques for brightfield, darkfield, phase contrast, polarized light, and fluorescence applications.

ABOUT US
In 1981, our founder answered a classified ad and the rest is history. In 1986, OPTIX INC. was established to serve the instrument repair needs of all from large research facilities to the curious hobbyist. Almost four decades later, He leads a team focused on quality service with incalculable knowledge and techniques of microscope repair. OPTIX regularly serves over 150 clients and counting with experience and training certification on Nikon, Olympus, Leica, and other instrument manufacturers. Continuing education is obtained through annual attendance at Service Associates cross-training meetings. Authorized Dealer of Accu-Scope, VEEGEE, and LW Scientific products.
